Madhavi Necklace
Our Madhavi Necklace is a classic gold and polki necklace, dressed in symbolic Indian motifs with a contemporary interpretation.
'Jav' (grain) shaped units crafted in gold with kundan-set polki/uncut diamonds are strung along cords made of golden thread, crafted using the patwa technique. They are bordered by a line of seed pearls using chakkar pirai, with clusters of seed pearls suspended from them.
The cords meet at an elaborately crafted chaand pendant, dressed in polki with the traditional jadai technique. The finials also represent the chaand motif.
The crescent moon is considered an emblem of peace and calm and symbolizes the Great Divine Mother (Shakti) and female power. The 'jav' motif symbolizes luck, happiness, fertility, and abundance.
