Sidra Mathapatti
A contemporary mathapatti for brides handcrafted in gold, highlighting the traditional work of moti (pearl) and manik (ruby).
The mathapatti features two pattis (bands) comprising 25 units each, handcrafted in gold and dressed in cabochon rubies using the traditional jadai technique, laid out symmetrically on each side of a circular gold unit, also dressed in rubies surrounds a polki, from which a tikka, featuring an 8-petalled rosette inside a gem-set circle, is suspended. The pattis are bordered by a line of alternating seed pearls and emerald beads.
Drops of pearls with green glass beads are suspended from the mathapatti, enveloping it in a graceful embrace.
